Weather Forecast for Nov 3: Rains in South Peninsula; Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh

Beginning with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and it’s induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas of Punjab. With this, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are all set to witness season’s first good snowfall, along with light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. However, Uttarakhand would settle with scattered rains.

In plains, northern parts of Punjab, Haryana and foothills of West Uttar Pradesh might experience scattered light rains. Whereas, weather of Delhi and North Rajasthan would remain dry.

Talking about pollution, we don’t see any relief from the ongoing pollution. The condition seems to be getting worsen day by day.

Down South, a Cyclonic Circulation is marked near Sri Lanka and a trough is extending up till North coastal Maharashtra across Kerala and Coastal Karnataka. Due to this, we can expect light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.

Whereas, scattered light to moderate rains are possible over Andhra Pradesh and isolated rains could be seen over North Interior Karnataka and Telangana.

In the Central part of the country, an Anti-Cyclone is over North Madhya Pradesh, therefore we expect dry and warm weather to continue over South Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

However, scattered rains are possible over Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa. Whereas, isolated rains would be experienced over Marathwada.

Moving to east and northeast India, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura would see light rains whereas East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha would continue with dry weather.
