Northeast Monsoon continued to lash Coastal parts of Tamil Nadu as well as Chennai. A low pressure area has formed over Sri Lanka and adjoining areas of south coastal Tamil Nadu. A trough is also seen extending from this system up to north coastal parts of Tamil Nadu. In wake of these weather systems, coastal Tamil Nadu including Chennai is further expected to witness light to moderate rains. However, one or two heavy spells cannot be ruled out over Chennai city. Intensity of rains will remain subdued over interior parts of Tamil Nadu and south Interior Karnataka.
Whereas southern parts of Kerala and south coastal stations of Andhra Pradesh will witness a few spells of good rain. Weather of remaining parts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will continue to remain dry.
Weather of entire East India will remain warm and dry. Talking about Northeast India, mist and haze is expected at a few places over Meghalaya and Tripura. Also, a few places over Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and East Uttar Pradesh will witness haze and mist during morning hours. But the weather is expected to remain dry.

Central parts of the country will remain warm and dry. Day and nights are expected to remain comfortable over Chhattisgarh and eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh. Weather conditions of West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan are likely to remain warm and sunny.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
A cyclonic circulation is seen over central parts of Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. But due to lack of moisture feed, dry weather will prevail over northwestern Plains as well as over Hills of North India. Meanwhile, morning fog is possible at a few places over Punjab and Haryana.
