Presently, the low pressure area is over South of Sri Lanka and adjoining Indian Ocean. A trough is also extending from this system up to Southeast Arabian Sea. In wake of this, moderate rain is possible in parts of South Coastal Tamil Nadu and South Kerala. Scattered light rain is also expected over Central Tamil Nadu and rest of Kerala. The city of Chennai may see very light rain.
Remaining states of South India will continue to witness dry weather conditions. Morning will be pleasant followed by warm afternoons.

Coming to Central region, dry weather will continue throughout the region. Minimum temperatures will witness marginal drop over North Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Gujarat and South Rajasthan will remain very warm during the day.
Talking about the weather in East and Northeast, cool east- northeasterly winds will continue over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. Thus, light rain is anticipated in parts of these mentioned states. Shallow to moderate fog is also possible over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
On the other hand, north-northwesterly winds will persist over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. So, mist is expected during the morning hours over most areas of these regions. Days will remain warm and sunny.
Up in North, a Western Disturbance is seen over North Jammu and Kashmir. Only isolated parts of the state would see light rain and snow activity. Sky will remain partly cloudy. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will be dry.

Meanwhile, light northwesterly winds will blow across the northwestern plains of the country. Minimum temperatures will remain below the normal by two to three degrees. North Haryana and Northwest Uttar Pradesh may witness shallow fog. Smoke and haze will be seen over Delhi-NCR. Pollution levels are likely to rise further over the region.
