Weather Forecast for Nov 29: Dry weather in North India; Rain in South TN, Kerala

A cyclonic circulation can be seen over Southeast Bay of Bengal. In wake of this, rains will increase over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Partly cloudy sky will be seen over most of South Peninsula; but probability of rain remains at the lower end.

Another trough is running from Southeast Arabian Sea to Lakshadweep Island. This will give light rain at one or two places over South Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep Island.

Up in Northeast, a cyclonic circulation is marked over Tripura. With this, isolated rain may occur over northeastern states.

Coming to North India, the prevailing Western disturbance has moved away. Now a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach Jammu & Kashmir on the evening of November 29. Till then, the weather will remain dry over the hilly states as well as northwest plains.

Dry and cold northwesterly winds will impact both maximum and minimum temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius over northwest plains and adjoining central parts of the country.
