The Western Disturbance over Western Himalayas is now affecting Jammu and Kashmir. With this, light rain and snow will continue over parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. In wake of this, minimum temperatures will continue to settle above normal by 3-5 degree across Northwestern plains including Delhi NCR.
Meanwhile, clear weather will prevail over Central and East India. However, minimum continue to be below normal over Interior Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Vidarbha region.
Up in Northeast India, cyclonic continues to prevail over Mizoram and adjoining areas. This may give isolated light rain over the northeastern states. Moderate to shallow fog and mist may also occur over the region.
Down south, dry weather conditions will prevail over the entire region as trough of low continues to run along the equatorial Indian Ocean. However, we can expect scattered rains over Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.
