Weather Forecast for Nov 27: Dry weather across most parts of India; Delhi pollution hits back

Beginning with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is marked over Jammu and Kashmir and it’s induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan. This system can give light to moderate rains over Jammu and Kashmir, with some chances of light snow in the upper reaches that may increase gradually. Himachal Pradesh could too see isolated rains, while lower regions will start receiving scattered rainfall post 24 hours.

Meanwhile, plains of Northwest India will have dry weather conditions with marginal increase in minimums. Delhi pollution have already made a comeback and is expected to become very poor at many places whereas it will enter severe category over isolated pockets.

Talking about central parts of the country like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh would continue to witness dry weather. Minimum temperatures are expected to increase marginally over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh due to commencement of easterly and northeasterly winds.

Moving east, no significant weather system is seen over East and Northeast India. Thus, weather would remain dry, with marginal increase in minimum temperatures over Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Moderate to shallow fog is also expected over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Down South, no weather system is seen affecting Southern Peninsular, resulting in subdued Northeast Monsoon. Weather of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka would remain dry, whereas, isolated light rains may occur over Lakshadweep, Kerala and interior parts of Tamil Nadu. Andaman and Nicobar Islands may also receive light to moderate rains at few places.
