Weather Forecast for Nov 26: Rain and snow in Kashmir, Himachal, dry weather in North, South India

The Western Disturbance over Western Himalayas has moved further northeastwards and is now over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, we can expect scattered rain and snow over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, lower areas could see receive light rains only.

In wake of this, maximums are likely to drop, while minimums will be above normal.

Adjoining areas of Punjab could also see some cloudy weather, however, weather will be dry over the state and entire Northwest India including Delhi NCR.

Similar weather would prevail over Central India, but minimum temperatures are likely to rise marginally over Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

A north-south trough can be seen running from Sub- Himalayan West Bengal up to Northeast Bay of Bengal. We can expect moderate to shallow fog and mist over Northeast India.

Meanwhile, increase in moisture would lead to rise in minimum temperature over Gangetic West Bengal, North Bihar and eastern parts of Jharkhand.

Down south, the trough continues to run from South Konkan to Comorin area, while another trough is seen running from southeast Bay of Bengal up to Sri Lanka Coast.

However, these systems will not be able to give any weather over the region and mainly dry weather will prevail over Kerala and Tamil Nadu including Chennai.

But we can expect scattered rains over Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.
