The dry and cold north-westerlies have gripped entire North India. Along with this, we can expect both day and night temperatures to further fall marginally over North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Sky will remain almost clear.

In Central India, an Anti-Cyclone is seen over Gujarat region, we expect dry north-west winds to continue over most parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh. Whereas, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra will experience north-northeasterly winds. Therefore, we expect fall in temperatures over the same. Weather will be dry with clear sky in offing.

In East and North East India, a cyclonic circulation is over north-east Bay of Bengal. However, this system will not be responsible for any kind of weather activity over eastern and northeastern states.

However, due to the presence of easterly winds, minimum temperatures over West Bengal and Sikkim may increase marginally. On the other hand, marginal fall in both day and night temperatures can be witnessed over parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
