In North India, a fresh Western disturbance will start affecting Jammu & Kashmir from November 24 evening onward. It will give isolated rain and snow over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh including Srinagar and Manali. Intensity may increase after 24 hours. At present, day temperatures over Jammu & Kashmir are above normal. We expect maximums to drop gradually during next 3-4 days.
Dry and cold northwesterly winds will continue to prevail over northwest plains and central parts of the country. However, weather will remain dry, with clear sky conditions.
Down South, a trough is extending from Comorin area to South Konkan region. With this, rain may occur over Lakshadweep Island, Kerala and South Tamil Nadu. Another trough is seen over South Andaman Sea, giving few showers over southern islands of Andaman & Nicobar.
