A low pressure area is seen over Southeast Bay of Bengal. Also, a trough is extending from this system up to Indian Ocean. In wake of this, light to moderate rains will continue over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, South Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Isolated rains are also expected over Interior Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka, South Konkan, South Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana.

Coming to Central region, an anti-cyclone is seen over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Vidarbha. In wake of this, the weather will continue to remain dry over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Temperatures may fall marginally over the region.
Up North, the feeble Western Disturbance is moving away eastwards. So, the weather will remain dry over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, dry and cold moderate winds will continue to blow over northwestern plains including Delhi-NCR. Thus, both day and night temperatures will remain below the normal level. Weathermen do not anticipate reoccurrence of dense fog for the next few days.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Talking about East and Northeast India weather, the weather is expected to remain dry with further drop in temperatures over Odisha, parts of West Bengal and Jharkhand. Isolated light rain may occur over Arunachal Pradesh, while rest of northeastern states will remain dry.
