Weather Forecast for Nov 22: Rain in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa

Beginning with North India, dry and cold winds from northwest will continue over Northwest Plains. Temperatures have already dropped significantly and further fall is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan.

Thus, cold wave conditions may prevail in Haryana and Rajasthan. As far as pollution levels are concerned, they will not be as bad as they were.

Coming to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over South Bangladesh. Light rain is likely over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, along with Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Moving on to Central India, an anti-cyclone is seen over South Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. Thus, dry weather will continue over entire Central India including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Vidarbha. Temperatures in South Chhattisgarh, South Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will be in lower 30s.

Live status of Lightning and thunder

Down South, a cyclonic circulation is in South Central Bay of Bengal. A trough is extending up to Sri Lanka. Thus, light to moderate rains are expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala with light showers over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South and Coastal Karnataka along with South Konkan and Goa.

Rain intensity will increase over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 24 hours.
