Down South, severe Cyclonic Storm Gaja is over West-central Bay of Bengal. It will move in west south-west direction towards Tamil Nadu coast and weaken gradually into a Cyclone by November 14. Gaja is likely to cross Tamil Nadu coast on the morning of November 15 between Puducherry and Nagapattinam.
We expect scattered light rains to commence on November 13 over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Kerala may also see some rains. Whereas, moderate to heavy rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Sea conditions will become rough to very rough between November 13-16. Storm surge will be around 10-15 feet tall over Coastal Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh. Due to this, fishermen are advised not to venture into sea.
Up in North, a Western Disturbance is now over Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan. These systems can give light to moderate rains and snow with isolated heavy falls over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. Isolated rains are possible over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, North Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
Since Delhi is not expected to receive moderate to heavy rains, thus pollution levels will remain in severe category.

In Central India, an Anti-Cyclone is over Gujarat region, therefore dry winds would continue over entire Central India. Dry weather with marginal drop in minimums is possible over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
In East and Northeast India, a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Assam. This might give isolated light rains over Assam and Meghalaya. Weather of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and entire East India would remain dry.
