Weather Forecast for Nov 11: Chennai rains to intensify, fog in Punjab, Haryana, smog in Delhi

Let’s begin with the latest news of the thick layer of smog that has been enveloping Delhi NCR for the last a few days. According to weathermen, with increase in wind speed, now the smoggy conditions that have engulfed the national capital will disperse gradually.

Meanwhile, we can expect fog to decrease in most places of Punjab and Haryana. While day temperatures may rise slightly, minimums will mark a marginal fall.

Moving down South, the low pressure area is persisting over Southwest Bay of Bengal. This system is likely to move gradually towards the coast of Tamil Nadu.

Thus, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Coastal Tamil Nadu, while scattered rains are possible over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Interior Tamil Nadu.

South interior Karnataka will receive light rain at one or two places. The weather of Telangana, Rayalaseema and rest of Karnataka will remain dry. Chennai rains will again pick up pace, we can expect moderate showers over the city.

Live status of Lightning and thunder

Coming to East and Northeast region, the weather over both the regions will continue to be dry. While days will remain sunny, nights will be cool and pleasant. Shallow to moderate fog is expected over East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar.

In Central India, An anti-cyclone is seen over Gujarat and adjoining area, thus the weather over South Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat will remain very warm, while rest parts of the region will also witness dry weather with bright sunshine.
