Talking about North India, dense fog will continue over Northern plains. Meanwhile, northwesterly winds will increase marginally which will improve visibility during afternoon hours. Weather will remain dry throughout the region with maximums witnessing some increase. Delhi Smog will continue to wreak havoc over people as pollution levels will remain severe over most parts of the capital.
Coming to East India, few pockets of East Uttar Pradesh may see moderate to dense fog. While mist and haze is expected over the entire East and Northeast India. A cyclonic circulation can be seen over Bangladesh; however, it will not have impact over the weather of these areas.

Moving on to Central India, an anti-cyclone is persisting over Rajasthan due to which dry winds will continue over both Rajasthan and Gujarat. Thus, weather will remain very warm over both these states.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will continue to see warm and sunny weather conditions.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Down South, a low-pressure area is persisting over East Central Bay of Bengal. Thus, scattered light to moderate rains will continue over parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and south Tamil Nadu.
Coastal and South Interior Karnataka may also see light to moderate rains. However, North Interior Karnataka, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh will see dry weather. Chennai will also continue to remain rain free.
