In absence of weather system, hills and plains of North India will witness clear weather conditions on Saturday. Plains could also see a gradual rise in day temperatures during next 48 hours.
Moving to East India, a feeble cyclonic circulation is seen over North Bihar and a trough is extending from this system up to North Andhra Pradesh across Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha. Accordingly, we can expect isolated light rain all along the well-marked trough and circulation on Saturday. Another cyclonic circulation is over Assam and Meghalaya, bringing scattered rain and thundershowers over northeastern states.
Down south, wind discontinuity is still seen from East Madhya Pradesh up to Comorin area across Vidarbha, Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely over Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, and interior Karnataka including Bangalore, Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala on Saturday.
In wake of these rains, heatwave remains abated from almost entire country barring few pockets of Odisha. On Saturday, day maximums will continue to settle below or around 40°C.
