Weather Forecast for May 7: Rain in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vidarbha; hot weather in Delhi

A feeble Western Disturbance will affect parts of North Pakistan giving isolated rains over both Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Its induced cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab area will give scattered dust storm, thunderstorm in North and East Rajasthan. Rest of Northwest India will remain dry. Delhi will be hot with temperatures crossing 40 degrees.

In East India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over foothills of Uttar Pradesh. A trough is also extending from this system up to Northeast India. With this Isolated thunderstorm and rain is likely along the foothills of East UP and Bihar.

Coming to Central India, moist winds blowing from Bay of Bengal may result in light rains over Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha including Pune may experience rain and thundershowers.

Coming to South India, a cyclonic circulation is over Telangana and adjoining. A trough is also extending from this system up to Tamil Nadu across Karnataka. With this rain will intensify over South Karnataka and Kerala. Scattered rains are also likely over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu.

Good rains are also expected over Bengaluru and Mysore. Hyderabad is also expected to witness some thunderstorm and rainfall activity.
