Beginning with the weather over North India a Western Disturbance as an upper sir system lies over Jammu and Kashmir. Its associated induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining East central Pakistan. Due to presence of these systems light rains are likely to continue over the Western Himalayas for the next 24 hours. Dust storm and thundershowers along with strong winds are expected over few places of Punjab and North Haryana. Dry and hot weather will prevail over Delhi.

Moving to the weather in East and Northeast India an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over East Bihar and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. A trough is seen extending from this system to Southeast Bangladesh. Therefore, light to moderate rain and thundershowers with few heavy showers are likely to continue over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Kolkata will witness warm and humid weather conditions.
Further in Central India a trough is seen extending from central parts of Madhya Pradesh to North Interior Karnataka across Madhya Maharashtra. Hence isolated places over Madhya Pradesh may receive dust storm and thundershower activities. Meanwhile, due to the dry winds heatwave conditions will prevail over isolated pockets of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Vidarbha. Mumbai will observe warm and humid weather with partly cloudy sky.

Lastly in South India a trough is seen extending from Tamil Nadu to South Interior Karnataka. Hence light to moderate rains at many places will occur over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka. Due to the presence of an anti-cyclone over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh Coast light rains may occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Chennai will see a warm and humid day with cloudy sky. A hot day with chances of thundershower is likely over Hyderabad.
