A Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is now moving away. However, its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. A trough is seen extending up to Punjab.
Due to this, isolated rain and thundershower activities may continue over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh along with parts of Punjab and Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile rest of the northwest plains including Delhi will remain dry. With this, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh may witness a marginal rise in the day temperatures during the next 24 hours.
Moving into East India, a trough is seen extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal up to Jharkhand. The trough is further up to South West Arabian sea across central and southern parts of the country.
With this, isolated rain and thundershower activities may occur over Odisha, South Konkan, Goa and adjoining South Maharashtra.
In south, scattered light rains may occur over Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Interior Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile in Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over East Assam that may give light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
