Monsoon like westerly winds are bringing continuous rains over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and adjoining interiors of Tamil Nadu. Light rains are being observed in Konkan & Goa as well. Tomorrow, Bangalore and Hyderabad stand a chance of some rainfall.
Higher up in North India rainfall will now follow a reducing trend. In the recent days, Uttarakhand has been the victim of several incidents of cloudburst. By tomorrow weather condition will improve significantly. We could see a trough joining the two cyclonic circulations. We could still see some light rainfall over Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
The presence of the circulation over Southeast Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Madhya Pradesh will continue to bring heavy showers heavy showers in east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal including capital city Kolkata. Some rainfall activity will trickle down to Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The low level cyclonic circulation over Assam will bring scattered rains over the region.
Heatwave has abated from the country and will come back anytime soon. Temperatures are quite high in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, but not amounting to heatwave.
