The Western Disturbance is marked over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, scattered light to moderate rains will continue over Jammu and Kashmir as well as Himachal Pradesh. Isolated showers will also be observed over Uttarakhand.
In the plains, a trough is extending from Haryana up to East Bihar. This feature is expected to give isolated rain and dust storm activity over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and parts of Rajasthan.
Coming to Central India, isolated pockets of South Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha are likely to observe thunderstorm activity due to a trough running across the region.
In East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is currently over Bihar and adjoining areas. Another cyclonic circulation can be seen over Assam and adjoining Meghalaya. Thus, scattered rains are expected to occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. While good rains are expected over Assam, and Meghalaya. Rains will reduce over rest of West Bengal.
Coming to South India, the trough from the central parts of the country is running up to South Interior Karnataka. With this, good rains are expected over South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Interior Tamil Nadu. Thundershowers may also occur over parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Bengaluru is also likely to observe good rains during the next 24 hours.
