Rain has intensified along the West Coast, particularly over Kerala. Moreover, weather conditions remain favourable for the rains to continue over Kerala, Lakshadweep Islands, Coastal Karnataka, even extending up to Konkan & Goa including Mumbai during next few days as well.
Meanwhile, southwesterly winds from ocean will be sweeping entire Peninsular India, and we can also expect scattered rain over Interior Karnataka including Bangalore, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
These rains will also bring relief over Coastal Andhra Pradesh that has been reeling under heatwave conditions.
Meanwhile, we can see series of cyclonic circulations over North and East India. One circulation could be seem over Punjab and adjoining Pakistan, followed by another over East Uttar Pradesh and last one over Gangetic West Bengal. And a trough can be seen running across these weather systems across the Indo-Gangetic plains.
With this, we can expect isolated light rain and thunderstorm or dust storm activities on Sunday over parts of North Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
While, Jharkhand and West Bengal including Kolkata could see some scattered rain and thundershowers. Especially Bihar could see some good rains.
Another trough is running from this circulation up to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh across Odisha. Accordingly, light rain and thundershowers may occur all along the trough line including parts of Chhattisgarh.
Meanwhile, Northeast India along with Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal will also continue with light to moderate rain and thundershowers, with isolated heavy spell.
All these activities will keep the temperature under check over Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra but seasonal hot day conditions will prevail.
