Weather Forecast for May 26: Hot weather in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai

Beginning with North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is seen over Jammu and Kashmir. This system will give rain and thundershowers over the state along with Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Its induced cyclonic circulation can be marked over Punjab. A trough is also extending from this system up to Bihar. In wake of this, isolated dust storms and thundershowers are likely over northern parts of Punjab and foothills of Uttar Pradesh.

Due to this trough, East Bihar, parts of Jharkhand, Odisha and sub-Himalayan West Bengal may also see light to moderate rains. In the meantime, the northeast region particularly Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will continue to record good spell of showers.

Another trough is extending from Bihar up to North Tamil Nadu. With this, scattered thundershowers are likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and interior parts of Tamil Nadu.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands will continue to see good rains in the wake of a cyclonic circulation over Southeast Bay of Bengal.

Live status of Lightning and thunder

Coming to central parts of the country, heatwave will continue its grip over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, parts of Odisha and Telangana. However, isolated thundershowers may occur over few places but it will not bring any relief. While in West India, temperatures will scale up in Gujarat and West Rajasthan.
