Skyrocketing temperatures in Rajasthan have now come down significantly but Heatwave in Telangana has made a comeback. Here’s a look at the weather in detail.
A fresh Western disturbance over north Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir region has already started affecting weather in the hills of North India. Tomorrow we can expect scattered rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
The induced cyclonic circulation over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab will give light rain and thundershowers over Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
A trough is extending from this system up to Gangetic West Bengal, across Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Thus, rainy weather likely across the foothills of Himalayas.
Another cyclonic circulation is sitting over Gangetic West Bengal. This will bring rain and thundershowers across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Further east, this region will receive scattered rains.
The much-awaited relief has now dawned up on western parts of the country as heatwave conditions are following a reducing trend. Heatwave is still persisting over North Rajasthan and adjoining Haryana, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Telangana. But, humid southwesterly winds coming from the Arabian Sea have reduced temperatures over many parts of Gujarat, South and West Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh.
We can see a cyclonic circulation brewing over west-central Arabian Sea. Moisture laden winds from this system will bring pre-Monsoon rainfall along the West Coast including coastal Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala.
