Pre Monsoon activities continue to grip India, though, the intensity of showers is different in all the zones. By the end of the month, Monsoon is likely to make an onset over Kerala. Thus, activities are expected to increase over the southern peninsular region.
Starting with the weather conditions across North India, a Western Disturbance has approached Jammu and Kashmir. Thus, rain intensity will increase over Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. In fact, Uttarakhand is also likely to observe scattered activity.

Meanwhile an induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. Thus, isolated rain activity is likely over North Punjab. Meanwhile, weather will start clearing up over the northwestern plains, raising the mercury levels. However, isolated dust storm and thunderstorm activity cannot be ruled out over the northwestern plains including Delhi.
Moving to East and Northeast India, a trough is extending from East Uttar Pradesh to Nagaland. Therefore, good rains are expected to continue over many parts of West Bengal and Assam. While, scattered rains are likely over Northeast India, eastern parts of Bihar and Coastal Odisha. Meanwhile, East Uttar Pradesh and most parts of Jharkhand are expected to reel under dry and warm weather.
Another trough is extending from East Uttar Pradesh up to South Karnataka across Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Therefore, light rain and thundershower activity is expected at a few places over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. In fact, isolated rain and thundershower is also possible over Marathwada, South Madhya Maharashtra and South Konkan and Goa. Meanwhile, weather across Gujarat and South Rajasthan will be dry and hot.

Not only this, this trough would also give light to moderate rain and thundershower over Kerala, Karnataka and parts of Interior Tamil Nadu. In fact, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may also receive one or two spells of thundershower activities.
