Beginning with the weather over North India – A fresh Western Disturbance is seen over Jammu and Kashmir and has induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab.
Therefore, we expect scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Light rain and thundershowers are also expected over Uttarakhand. Northern districts of Punjab may also experience light rains. Weather of Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry.

Moving to the weather in East and Northeast India – A trough is seen running along the foothills of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar up to Nagaland. Therefore, we expect good rains to occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam. Rains are also likely to increase over Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha. Scattered rains are also possible over remaining parts of Northeast India.
Further in Central India – A trough is extending across Madhya Pradesh. Thus, we expect isolated thunderstorm and thundershower over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and parts of Chhattisgarh. Scattered rains are likely over Maharashtra. Weather of West Madhya Pradesh, South Rajasthan and Gujarat will remain dry and hot.

Lastly in South India – Due to the trough extending up to Karnataka, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers to continue over Karnataka and Kerala as well as Interior Tamil Nadu. Few spells of thundershowers are also possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
