Beginning with the weather over North India, the Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its associated cyclonic circulation lies over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining parts of East central Pakistan. Due to the presence of these systems, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely to occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Dust storm and thundershower activities are possible over parts of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Moving to the weather in East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen persisting over eastern parts of Bihar and adjoining Northeast Jharkhand. A trough is extending from this system to Odisha Coast. Due to these systems, moderate to heavy thundershowers with strong-winds are possible at some places of Gangetic West Bengal and North Coastal Odisha. Meanwhile rest of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal including Kolkata will receive light rain and thundershower activities. Light to moderate rains are expected to continue over the northeastern states.
Further in Central India, an upper air cyclonic circulation is seen over southern parts of Uttar Pradesh and adjoining region. A trough extends from this system to North Interior Karnataka across central parts of Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, dust storm and thundershower with strong-winds will affect parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
Lastly in South India, a cyclonic circulation lies over Comorin. A trough is extending from this system to North Interior Karnataka. Due to these system, light to moderate rain and thundershowers will continue over parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Rains are also expected over Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Therefore, light to moderate rain and thundershowers with heavy spells at few places are likely to occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
