The Char Dham Yatra has re-opened for the pilgrims in Uttarakhand where we expect an extensive spell of pre-Monsoon activities over the next few days. We need to keep a watch for any inclement weather over the hills. As of now let’s take a look weather conditions across India for tomorrow.
The Western Disturbance over North Pakistan and adjoining areas is slowly approaching the northern hills. The induced cyclonic circulation can be seen over Punjab and Haryana. The trough from this system is extending across the Indo-Gangetic plains. In view of these weather systems North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and West Uttar Pradesh will witness pre-Monsoon activities in terms of dust storm and thundershowers. All the three hilly states will also have rain and thundershowers form tomorrow onwards. Temperatures will remain under check in North India.
A fresh cyclonic circulation is coming up over the foothills of Bihar. There is a trough extending from this system across Jharkhand, Odisha and up to Chhattisgarh.
Thundershowers are likely over this region, leading to relatively pleasant conditions.
Further east, rainfall activity is likely to gain strength from the second half of the week, intensity and spread of rainfall will start showing signs of increasing from 12th onwards.
Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada have been observing very good precipitation for the last few days. Thus, temperatures have been near or marginally below normal levels over the region. Tomorrow we could expect thundershowers along with strong winds and hail storm over Pune, Nashik, Solapur, Aurangabad and Dhule.
The wind discontinuity across interiors of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu will continue to bring pre-Monsoon showers on either side of the discontinuity. Bangalore and Hyderabad also stand a chance of some rainfall.
Gujarat and Southwestern parts of Rajasthan will remain hot and dry for tomorrow.
