Weather Forecast for May 10: Rain in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata

A fresh Western Disturbance is moving across Jammu and Kashmir and its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. Due to this, scattered light rain may occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile in plains, dust storm, thunderstorm activities are expected in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Northern parts of Uttar Pradesh and a trough is extending from this system to northeastern states across East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Bangladesh.

Due to this, rain and thundershower with squally winds are likely over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and North Eastern states.

North Bihar, North Bengal and Assam may experience severe thunderstorm and lightning strike.

Coming to Central India, scattered rain and thundershower is likely over parts of Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada.

Down South, another cyclonic circulation is over Telangana and a trough from the system is running to South Tamil Nadu. With this, scattered light rain, thundershower with isolated moderate spell are likely over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, South interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana.

Major cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata will record pre-Monsoon activities during the next 24 hours.
