Weather Forecast for March 30: Heatwave in South India, Kal Baisakhi in East

Cool and breezy spring season is likely to bid adieu to Delhi a little too early. Both day and night temperatures will gradually rise during the next few days. Weather in Delhi will remain very dry till about early next month, when we can expect a fresh Western Disturbance. This system will bring some rainfall in the hills of North and will also replace the dry winds with moist southwesterly winds in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Temperatures will keep rising over Northwest Madhya Pradesh as well.

The cyclonic circulation over Bihar has become insignificant now. The trough is still seen extending up to Odisha. We can expect Kal Baisakhi over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and coastal Odisha.

Tomorrow, we can expect one or two spells of rain thundershowers over Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Agartala and Upper Assam.

The trough in Peninsular India has shifted westwards. Now it is extending from Southeast Madhya Pradesh to Comorin region. This weather system will bring isolated rainfall over South Madhya Pradesh, most parts of Maharashtra, Kerala and South Tamil Nadu.

Day temperature in Delhi will rise to 34 degrees. In Lucknow and Patna it will be around 36.

Ahmedabad will be hot and sunny with maximum at 39 degree Celsius. Heatwave like conditions will continue to prevail over Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Marathwada and parts of Southwest Madhya Pradesh.

Hyderabad will witness a hot and sultry day with maximum and minimum settling at 38 and 25 degree Celsius.
