The Western Disturbance lying over Jammu and Kashmir has cleared the region and has moved in east direction.
With this, rain activity will reduce significantly over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Sunday. However, remnant of the system may give some weather over isolated places.
Moderate northwesterly winds will once again start blowing over the northwestern plains. This will lead to drop in temperatures and they will settle around normal.
Meanwhile in wake of eastward movement of Western Disturbance, we can now expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. While, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will get scattered rain and thundershowers on Sunday.
Moving to central parts of the country, a cyclonic circulation is marked over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh. This will give scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.
A trough is also seen running from this system up to Lakshadweep Islands. Accordingly, we can expect light showers over isolated parts of Karnataka and Madhya Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, heat wave conditions have abated Gujarat and day temperatures will also decrease over West Madhya Pradesh.
However, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka will continue to reel under heat wave like conditions.
