The Western Disturbance lying over Pakistan and the induced cyclonic circulation seem to be approaching the India region. The arrival of these systems being announced by gusty winds blowing across the plains of North India including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. A prolonged spell of rain and thundershowers will be witnessed from March 24 to 27. The intensity and spread will be more on the 26th and 27th. The rain belt will gradually shift towards East India.
For the time, expect a bright and windy day across the plains, right up to West Uttar Pradesh.
The cyclonic circulation over upper parts of Assam will bring some scattered light to moderate rain with hail at isolated places over this region.
In eastern parts, the trough extending from Sikkim to Odisha will bring rain in few pockets along the trough line.
Clear and dry weather conditions likely in entire Central India including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. Heat wave like conditions will expand and cover more parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The feeble trough over here will bring light rain in Kerala. Rest of Peninsular India will have to wait for another week for some rain.
Day temperature in Delhi will be 32°C. Night will be cooler at 17°C.
Maximum and minimum in Kolkata will be 36°C and 26°C, respectively.
Hyderabad will be one of the hottest cities with maximum at 40°C.
Mumbai will have clear sky. Maximum and minimum will settle around 35°C and 20°C.
