To start with North India, the Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir will continue to give light to moderate rain and thundershowers over the state along with the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh. Isolated snowfall activity cannot be ruled out.
Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan. But it is unlikely that this system will affect the northwestern plains of India.
Meanwhile the temperatures over the region are likely to rise along with central and eastern parts of the country. Especially, parts of South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada regions of Maharashtra and Telangana are expected to witness very warm weather conditions.
The weather in Patna seems to be favorable as the eighth edition of Bihar Diwas is celebrated. Comfortable morning and evenings are expected but afternoons will be slightly warmer.
Moving to Northeast India, a trough is extending from West Bengal up to Odisha, light rain and thundershowers will continue over East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Down South, a cyclonic circulation is marked over North Interior Karnataka and adjoining areas. A trough is extending from this system up to Tamil Nadu. The combined effect of these systems will give scattered rain and thundershowers over South Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Also interior parts of Tamil Nadu could see some isolated light rain activity.
