Weather Forecast for March 22: Rise in temperatures over Delhi and North India

The Western Disturbance is clearing away from the western Himalayas. The rainy spell in North India has taken a backseat for the time being.

We can expect a bright and windy day across the plains of North India right up to West Uttar Pradesh. No weather system likely to affect the region before March 25th. Temperatures seem to be on the rise in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and West Uttar Pradesh.

The cyclonic circulation over upper parts of Assam will bring some scattered light to moderate rain with hail at isolated places over this region.

Coming down to eastern parts, there is trough extending from Bihar to Odisha. Few pockets in coastal parts of West Bengal and Odisha will receive some rainfall tomorrow.

Clear and dry weather conditions likely in entire Central India. Maharashtra at present is quite hot. But the hottest pocket of the country will be Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Several cities could witness maximums touching 40 degrees.

There is no discontinuity prevailing in Peninsular India. The feeble trough over here will bring light rain in Kerala.

Day temperatures in North India will settle in mid-thirties. Minimums will be in higher teens.

Maximum and minimum in Kolkata will be 35 and 26°C, respectively.

Hyderabad will be one of the hottest cities with maximum at 40°C.

Bangalore will be partly cloudy but no rain likely tomorrow. Maximum and minimum will settle around 36 and 24°C.
