The Western Disturbance is now moving away from the Jammu and Kashmir region towards east directions. While, its induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana has become less marked.

With this, rain and snow activity will reduce significantly. Weather activity will be confined to only isolated places of Jammu and Kashmir and over few places of and Uttarakhand on Sunday.

In plains, scattered light rain is likely over North Punjab. While rest of Northwest India will witness dry weather conditions.

Moving onto northeastern region, we can also expect scattered light rain and thundershowers over Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Rest of Northeast India along with Gangetic West Bengal will get only isolated light showers.

Down in Peninsular India, a confluence zone is seen expanding from Marathwada region of Maharashtra up to Kerala across interior parts of Karnataka up to Kerala.

However this will only give isolated rain and thundershowers over Kerala, while rest of the region will remain dry.
