The Western Disturbance is still lying over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas and so does its induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana.
With this, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will continue with scattered light to moderate rain and snow with few isolated heavy spells on Saturday. Uttarakhand will also receive scattered rains.
In plains, scattered light rain is likely over Punjab, Haryana and over isolated parts of North Rajasthan. While, Delhi will just have some cloudy weather with very few chances of rain.
Meanwhile, the cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha and adjoining Telangana has shifted westwards. With this, the North-south trough from this system that was earlier reaching up to Tamil Nadu, has also shifted. It is now running across Telangana, interior parts of Karnataka up to Kerala.
Due to this rain belt has also shifted, we can expect light rain over Kerala and Karnataka.
An east-west trough is also extending from this system up to Bay of Bengal. While, an anti-cyclonic circulation is in Northwest Bay of Bengal and is infusing moisture to this trough.
Both the systems are likely to give isolated light rain over coastal parts of Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
Moving to the Northeast India, the cyclonic circulation is still persisting over Meghalaya that may give some light showers over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.
