To start with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir, which will give light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also chances of snowfall at few places cannot be ruled out.
Its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. However, it will not have any impact over northwestern plains and weather will remain dry. But, isolated thunderstorm activity cannot be ruled out over northern parts of Punjab. Moreover, in spite of gradual rise in both maximum and minimums, temperatures will remain below normal level.
Coming to East and Northeast India, the region will witness dry weather conditions. However, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh may record some light rain and thundershowers.
Down South, a cyclonic circulation is seen over North Interior Karnataka. Also, a trough is extending from this system up to Lakshadweep Islands. With the combined effect of these weather systems, pre-Monsoon rain and thundershowers are expected over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
