Weather Forecast for March 15: Rain in Bangalore, Dry weather in Northwest India

After a brief period of dry spell, once again a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach Western Himalayas. This system will give scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Also chances of snowfall at few places cannot be ruled out.

Meanwhile, the weather over entire northwestern plains and Central India will remain dry, with gradual rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures. However, mornings and evenings will continue to remain cool with mercury settling between 8°C to 12°C.

Similarly, East and Northeast India will also witness dry weather conditions, with marginal rise in both day and night temperatures.

Down South, a trough is extending from Vidarbha to South Interior Tamil Nadu across Karnataka. With this, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Vidarbha and Marathwada region of Maharashtra, South Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep islands. Bangalore too stands a chance for some good showers.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may see isolated rain activity, which will not have much impact on the temperatures that are settling over 37 degrees. Moreover, it will increase the humidity, adding further to the discomfort.
