The Western Disturbance is now prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, fairly widespread light to moderate rain and snow will continue over the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
While, it’s induced cyclonic circulation has also shifted eastwards and is lying over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab and Haryana. Due to this rain and thundershowers will continue over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and many parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile a trough is extending from this system up to Jharkhand, which will give fairly widespread rain over Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and parts of West Bengal.
Up in Northeast India, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will continue with scattered light rain.
Moving down south, interiors of Peninsular India including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Vidarbha will continue to reel under high day temperatures. While Kerala and South Karnataka may get some light showers on Sunday.
