Weather Forecast for March 12: Most parts of India receive rainfall simultaneously

North India has already started receiving some good showers. The intensity and spread will increase from tomorrow.

The Western Disturbance is now stationed over Jammu and Kashmir with the induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and adjoining states. These two weather systems put together will bring widespread rain over the hilly states, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, North Rajasthan and Northwest Uttar Pradesh. Some snowfall likely in the higher reaches. Isolated places could receive heavy showers. The cloud cover and rainy weather over North India will bring down temperatures significantly over North India.

The cyclonic circulation over extreme Northeast India will bring scattered light rain over Upper Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh.

The East-West trough extending from West Bengal to Vidarbha will bring some rainfall over Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.

There is another North-South trough running from Maharashtra to Tamil Nadu across Telangana, Karnataka. Isolated light rains likely in places across this trough.

Mumbai could also receive some rain tomorrow.
