Maharashtra generally experiences dry weather conditions in the month of February. But, the state has been receiving rainfall since last Saturday. So far, we have had rains only in pockets but now, the intensity and spread of rainfall will increase. Hailstorm is likely in few parts of Maharashtra, barring the coastal stations.

Tomorrow, places like Sangli, Pune, Satara and Kolhapur will receive good showers. In Marathwada, we can expect rain in Osmanabad, Aurangabad. Mumbai could receive some rain on March 4.

The cyclonic circulation will shift further to North Pakistan and adjoining areas of Punjab and Haryana. Another system can be seen over Chhattisgarh. One trough is joining these two weather systems while the other one is running along the West Coast across Gujarat.

Tomorrow, we can expect rainfall in South and East Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh.

In South Peninsula, cloud cover will persist. But only isolated light rainfall is likely along the coastal areas.

The cyclonic circulation over Northeast India is also becoming less marked. Accordingly, rainfall will decrease over the region.

Far North, the Western Disturbance will affect only the higher reaches. No rainfall likely in the plains. Temperatures here are settling significantly above normal levels. Both maximum and minimum could drop after March 4th.
