Meanwhile, northwestern plains would witness dry and clear weather, with rise in maximum temperatures. Delhi is expected to witness a warm and sunny day, with the maximum settling at 30°C and minimum around 14°C.
Moving to Central India, an anti-cyclone is seen over South Rajasthan. Also, a ridge is extending form this system up to Odisha. Hence, dry and warm weather is expected over entire Central India. Also, maximum temperatures are likely to rise over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha region.
Mumbai may see a warm and humid day, with the day temperature settling at 34°C and minimum at 22°C.
Talking about the weather over East and Northeast India, isolated light rain and thundershowers are expected over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal during the morning hours. As the day progresses, the weather will clear up. Heatwave conditions are also likely over isolated areas of Odisha.
Moving ahead, a trough is running from Arunachal Pradesh up to Nagaland. With this, light to moderate rain and thundershowers will occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
