Weather Forecast for Mar 4: Rains ahead for Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Bengaluru

Beginning with North India, where a Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan. Due to which, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand might receive rains. Snowfall is also likely over a few higher regions. A few western parts of Punjab, Haryana, as well as Northwest Rajasthan might also see rains. Minimum temperatures are expected to increase by one to two degrees over most parts. Pollution might increase over Delhi and NCR.

Talking about Central India, where one or two places over North Madhya Pradesh are likely to see rains. Weather of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and rest parts of Madhya Pradesh will remain dry. Minimum temperatures may increase over Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Mumbai will remain dry.

Coming on to East and Northeast India, where a Cyclonic Circulation is over North Chhattisgarh and adjoining Jharkhand. Another Cyclonic Circulation is over East Assam. Fairly widespread rains are forecast for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. One or two places over Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh might also receive snowfall. Light rains might continue over Odisha and Jharkhand. Weather of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will remain dry.

Lastly in South India, where a North-South Trough is extending from Chhattisgarh to Tamil Nadu. Scattered rain are possible over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu, South Karnataka and Rayalaseema. Weather of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North Karnataka will remain dry. Parts of Lakshadweep and Bengaluru might also receive rainfall. Chennai and Hyderabad will remain dry.
