Beginning with North India; the day maximums will continue to settle significantly above the normal levels over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, with dry weather conditions.
Meanwhile in plains, a feeble trough is extending from Punjab up to Northwest Uttar Pradesh. However, in the absence of adequate moisture, the weather would remain dry and hot. With this, the heatwave conditions will continue to across isolated pockets of South Haryana and North Rajasthan.

The national capital, Delhi would witness a hot and sunny day, while the city of Nawabs, Lucknow would be slightly better and is likely to observe a warm and sunny day.
The intense heat has also extended its ambit to Central India as well. The day temperatures have increased further over West Rajasthan, Gujarat and Vidarbha. Thus, heatwave is not likely to let up soon. In fact, we expect these conditions to advance and cover North Madhya Pradesh also.
The entertainment city of Mumbai would see a warm and humid day but comfortable evenings.
Meanwhile, East and Northeast India along with South India are the only pockets to witness pre-Monsoon activities. All thanks to the cyclonic circulation can be seen over Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal that would give scattered rains over West Bengal, while isolated showers are possible over East Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.
The city of Joy, Kolkata is expected to witness a warm and humid day, with partly cloudy sky conditions and possibilities of light rain.
A trough is running from this system to Manipur. Thus, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected to continue over the Northeast states, particularly over West Assam, Meghalaya and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Another trough is also extending from this circulation up to Interior Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Interior Karnataka. Thus weather activity is likely all along the well-marked trough line. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over parts of Kerala, whereas isolated showers are possible over South Interior Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
