The persisting Western Disturbance has moved away after giving scattered rain and snow over the Western Himalayas. Now, we expect isolated light rain over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for another 24 hours. Thereafter, dry weather will dominate the northern hills.
Meanwhile, the weather would remain dry and sunny across the northwestern plains of the country. Both, maximum and minimum temperatures are also expected to rise marginally over the entire region for the next couple of days.
Delhi would witness a warm and sunny day. Maximum temperature is expected to be around 33°C over the city, while the minimum will settle near 17°C.

Moving to Central India, dry northwesterly winds will continue to blow over most parts of the region. So, the weather would remain dry and warm. Moreover, maximum temperatures over Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are likely to rise marginally. In fact, Vidarbha may witness hot days with the mercury mounting to 40°C.
Mumbai would see a warm day and comfortable night.
Moving to East and Northeast India, a north-south trough is extending from West Bengal up to South India across Odisha. Thus, we expect isolated rain and thundershowers over parts of Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Coastal Odisha.
Southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal are inducing moisture over the northeastern region of the country. Hence, scattered rains will continue over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Tripura. The remaining northeastern states may record isolated showers. Kolkata is expected to receive isolated rain during the next 24 hours.

Lastly in South India, due to the north-trough, light to moderate rain and thundershowers will continue over Kerala and parts of Interior Tamil Nadu during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, the intensity of the showers will reduce gradually. Meanwhile, Telangana and Rayalaseema would witness hot days, with several areas recording maximum around 40°C.
Bengaluru would see a warm day, with partly cloudy sky conditions. The weather over Chennai will too remain warm and sunny. Hyderabad will observe a hot day.
