A Western Disturbance as an upper air system is moving across northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this system, a light spell of rain and snowfall may occur in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, dry northwesterly winds would be prevailing in northwestern plains of the country, hence, dry weather may continue in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. The day temperature would increase slightly while night temperature might witness a fall.
In Central India, a Cyclonic Circulation lies over the northern parts of Madhya Pradesh. An upper air Trough is extending from South Madhya Maharashtra to Northeast Madhya Pradesh. Due to the presence of this system, the extreme eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will experience light spell of rain and thundershowers. While West Madhya Pradesh may remain dry and comfortable. Mumbai may witness dry weather with a rise in the humid conditions. Afternoon would turn warm.

Due to above system, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and parts of Odisha will experience light rain or thundershowers. Day temperature may fall slightly. An upper air Cyclonic Circulation lies over lower Assam and adjoining parts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Due to this system, the northeastern states will experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers.
Down South, an upper air Trough is extending from Kerala to South Madhya Maharashtra. Due to this system, Kerala, parts of Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka may experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Other parts of Tamil Nadu, North Interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh may experience mostly dry and warm weather. Meanwhile, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Marathwada and adjoining region. Due to this system, northern parts of Telangana may observe light rain. Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad are likely to witness dry and warm weather with partly cloudy sky conditions.
