Beginning with North India,from where the WesternDisturbance has now moved away and another feeble one may affect after 24 hours. In the wake of this, mainly dry and cool weather is likely over the hills. Just one or two pockets might continue to receive light rains.
Similar dry and comfortable weather is forecast for in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. A partly cloudy sky may however be seen over few places. A rise in day temperatures and a drop in night temperatures is very likely.
Talking about East and Northeast India, where a Cyclonic Circulation lies over East Arunachal Pradesh. Rain and thundershowers with a decreased intensity is likely over East Assam and Nagaland and in isolatedplaces over Meghalaya. Meanwhile, West Bengal, Sikkim, North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand might see rains and thundershowers.

Next up in Central India, where due to the mixing of air masses, light rains and thunderstorm activity is possible over Vidarbha, SouthMadhya Pradesh, adjoining areas of Chhattisgarh and Marathwada. Meanwhile, the coastal stations of Maharashtra will remain hot.
Lastly in South India, where no significant weather system has taken over. Mainly dryand warm weather is forecast for Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Isolated placesover Southeast Tamil Nadu and coastal Kerala may receive patchy rains including Lakshadweep.
