Twin Monsoon systems on either side of the coasts will keep the Monsoon current active over India. The system over the Arabian Sea had earlier intensified into a depression, is now lying over coastal parts of Oman. It is showing signs of weakening but is still drawing moisture laden winds over Saurashtra and Konkan region.
While the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal will move inland by tomorrow. It will be seen over parts of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. Heavy showers are likely over Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, and South Madhya Pradesh. The West Coast trough will remain active, bringing heavy showers in Konkan & Goa. Mumbai will also get heavy rains tomorrow.
Moving up to North India, we can see a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and adjoining. The trough is moving across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh up to the cyclonic circulation over here. Moist easterlies are reaching the plains and this trough will finally be instrumental for ushering Monsoon shortly over Delhi and adjoining areas. As of now, dust storm and thundershowers will continue over the region.
