A Western Disturbance can be seen over Jammu & Kashmir. Also, a cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and a trough is running from this to Northwest Bay of Bengal. Thus, moderate to heavy are expected over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand, that may trigger flash floods over some parts.

Meanwhile in plains, these systems would give light to moderate showers over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.

Furthermore, the east-west trough would extend rains to central region as well. Light to moderate rains, with few heavy spells are likely over Southeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and East Vidarbha region.

Meanwhile, the off shore trough along the West Coast also persists that would give scattered showers over Konkan & Goa including Mumbai, while moderate to heavy showers will continue over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

There is also possibility of light to moderate rains over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while scattered light rains may occur over Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Finally in East & Northeast India; the flow of humid winds from Bay of Bengal would cause moderate to heavy showers over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

In fact, good showers are also anticipated over parts of Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata, Odisha and Northeastern states. Also, East Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand may see one or two short spells.
