Advancing at a rapid pace, Monsoon 2018 has covered East Rajasthan, most of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and some parts of Punjab.
With this, we expect light to moderate showers over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and parts of northwestern plains including Delhi-NCR. All thanks to cyclonic circulations over North Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh and trough extending across Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Furthermore, these systems would also increase rains over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and parts of Assam would see moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata, parts of Odisha and rest of Northeast will continue to see light to moderate rains.
Moving onto central parts, light to moderate showers may occur over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and few places over West Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan. Isolated rains are possible over Gujarat and Interior Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the trough along the West Coast would continue to give light to moderate rain over Konkan & Goa. However, Mumbai would witness some light showers only.
Finally in South, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala would observe moderate rains, with one or two heavy spells.

Meanwhile, North Telangana would see moderate to heavy showers, however there is possibility of subdued rains over Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
