Weather Forecast for June 23: Rain in Mumbai, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala; hot in Delhi

Light to moderate Monsoon rains with one or two heavy to very heavy spells are likely over Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. All thanks to off shore trough running from Maharashtra to Kerala Coast. Mumbaikars will too enjoy some good spells. Besides this, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu may observe isolated light showers.

Moving onto east and northeastern region, the trough extending from East Uttar Pradesh to Sub-Himalayan West Bengal would bring moderate to heavy showers over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Meanwhile, Northeastern states, Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Odisha could see light to moderate rains. There are chances of isolated showers in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Now over Central region, the trough extending from East Uttar Pradesh to Telangana would give light to moderate showers over South & Central Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Telangana. Isolated showers may occur over South Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan.

Lastly, Northern region, the cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan would give light showers over Jammu & Kashmir and isolated rains over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile in plains, the trough across northern plains will not influence the weather over the region, but there are chances of dust storm or light thundershowers in West Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan over isolated places. For now, the weather over Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry and hot.
